AIMed24 will have a special Pediatric AI Track for the first time!

AIMed24 will have Subspecialty Breakout Sessions! 

Clinicians from various subspecialties can convene at the AIMed24 Subspecialty Breakouts!
 
Clinicians, data scientists, and leaders involved in some subspecialties and professions (such as radiology, cardiology, nursing, physician assistants, etc) will be able to participate in the main AIMed24 activities as well as special breakout sessions for their own subspecialties or professions at AIMed24. 
These 90 minute sessions will be an outstanding opportunity to meet colleagues in your own subspecialty or profession to network, collaborate, and share insights. 

 

AIMed24 and the Abstract Presentations Return! 

Anyone interested in AI in healthcare can submit abstracts to present at AIMed24’s Abstract Session!
 
Clinicians and data scientists as well as health leaders with good ideas about how to use AI in healthcare can submit their idea and abstract for presentation at AIMed24’s Abstract Session. The abstracts can focus on a problem in healthcare and how it can be solved or improved with AI. 
This is a unique opportunity for everyone to share your ideas with a sophisticated group of clinicians, data scientist and AI experts, healthcare leaders, and investors!

AIMed Awards at AIMed24! 

The annual AIMed Awards for a myriad of categories of AI in health will be honored at the meeting!
 
Each year, AIMed will honor deserving AI in health practitioners and leaders for various awards for their special contributions in AI in health. 
The categories will include: AI in health organization of the year, AI in health clinician and champion of the year, AI in health company of the year, and many other categories that will honor these outstanding champions of AI in health. 

AIMed24 is also for Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants!

There will be a special session on AI education in health professional schools!
 
Artificial intelligence is being taught in a only a few health professional schools and the early experiences will be discussed at AIMed24. In addition, artificial intelligence is becoming very relevant and useful as a resource in educating and training our younger generations of healthcare professionals. 
The health professions include: medical schools (both MD and DO), nursing schools, schools for nurse practitioners and physician assistants/associates, school of pharmacy, school of public health, etc.

AI in pharma is becoming a hot topic as deep learning becomes relevant for drug discovery!
 
Deep learning and its ability to determine protein structure via genomic sequencing as well as influencing decision support have been revolutionary in both drug discovery and repurposing to treat diseases. 
Future generations of new drugs as well as vaccines will be relying more on artificial intelligence for advancing therapy and individualizing treatment for precision medicine.

The American Board of AI in Medicine (ABAIM) will be sponsoring a special one-day AI in Healthcare for Everyone primer course at the beginning of the AIMed24 meeting. The faculty is specially selected for their teaching capabilities and outstanding access.
This popular course will be live and in person for anyone who would like to be introduced to artificial intelligence in healthcare with its basic concepts, early applications, and lessons learned.

The annual AIMed AI Sharks will feature promising startups in AI in healthcare!

Five startups in AI in healthcare will be in a friendly competition with judges that will consist of real life investors and startup coaches at AIMed24. This event has always been a popular one at the annual AIMed meetings.  
These startups will be given opportunities to have the services of investors and mentors as part of the awards given for being part of AI Sharks.
