Successful submissions will be contacted by November 1, 2024, and will be asked to provide a virtual poster related to their abstract for display at AIMed24. Shortlisted participants must be prepared to attend the event in Orlando, Florida, and present their work. The overall winner will be invited to deliver a 10-minute on-stage presentation during AIMed24 on either November 18 or 19, 2024. The exact date will be communicated in late October.
Those wishing to apply will be required to submit an abstract to gemma@ai-med.io.

The competition is open to all individuals or teams who have innovative ideas or research related to AI in healthcare. There are no specific requirements regarding professional background or experience level.
Yes, participants can submit multiple abstracts. However, each submission must be unique and adhere to the application criteria.
Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words. This word limit applies to both the Traditional and Simplified Abstract formats.
The abstract should comprise of either:

No, submitting a 3-minute video is optional. However, it can help further explain your work and potentially strengthen your submission.
The deadline for submitting your abstract is October 1, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Shortlisted participants will be notified by November 1, 2024, via the contact details provided in their submission.
Attendance at AIMed24 is mandatory for shortlisted participants, as the competition includes presenting your poster during the event. If you cannot attend, your submission may be disqualified.
The posters will be virtual and specific requirements will be communicated.
Yes, we encourage this as it allows for broader dissemination of your work.
All submitted posters will be reviewed by the editorial teams of Elsevier journals. If your work offers scope for publication, it could be considered for inclusion in the Intelligence-Based Medicine journal, either as a written or graphical abstract.

Yes, all accepted submissions will be eligible for a 25% discount on AIMed24 registration fees.
