PITCH YOUR HEALTHCARE AI STARTUP
Securing funding is one of the most challenging aspects of starting and scaling an AI solution that could transform the healthcare landscape. To help match-make start-ups with investors, raise your solution profile and drive industry innovation forward, we have created Shark Tank @ AIMed Global Summit 2024.
The competition is open to start-up companies which have raised no more than $2m in seed funding to date. Awards will also be presented in the categories of Use of AI for Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, Process Improvement and Research.
Start-ups will have the opportunity to deliver a shark tank-style pitch to a prestigious judging panel of healthcare industry expert angel investors and VCs who invest in seed rounds. Taking place ahead of the 2024 AIMed Global Summit. The shortlisted finalists we then be invited to exhbit at the 2024 Global Summit and thew winner offered the opportunity to present on our headliners stage.

This competition is open to start-up companies which have raised no more than $2m in seed funding to date.
They should have a minimally viable product – ideally a commercially robust viable product, preferably with some early traction.
Companies wishing to apply should submit a short slide deck providing the following information and fill in the submission form below by 31 January, with shortlisting taking place the following week. Results announced w/c February 26
- Details of the solution
- The uniqueness of their idea or product
- A justification for how it will move the needle in healthcare
AIMed are working with partners to develop a prize for the winning company … ideally a free slot in an accelerator
You will have the opportunity to secure a spot on a highly selective growth program, with potential investment of up to $100k and an option to follow-on with additional funding.

Successful submissions will be asked to provide a full digital poster regarding the work described in the abstract that will be presented across AIMed Global Summit and its associated platforms.
Successful submissions will also have the opportunity to present their poster on stage during the interactive abstract competition, which will be held live on the morning of June 7.
Authors please pay close attention to the submissions criteria below. As judges have many abstract to read and rank, those that do not conform to the state criteria will be excluded.
- Submissions must be received in correctly written English with concise and clear wording
- The title should summarize the abstract and convince the reviewers that the topic is important, relevant, and original
- The work’s aim is stated in a simple manner, questions are concrete and are testable
- Clear background on the healthcare/clinical problem and context of work
- Describe methodology used include research design, research setting; measurements (where relevant) and solution to address said problem
- Share results, and if possible outcome variables and characterise the primary and secondary outcomes
- State concisely what can be concluded and its implications. The conclusions can be supported by the data presented abstract as an appendix
