Dr. Gaby Cora is a corporate business and organizational management leader and consultant with experience across industries including startups, mergers, and acquisitions: clinical research and medical centers (National Institutes of Health & Cleveland Clinic), hospital administration (Geo Care), health insurance (Aetna/CVS & Magellan), PhRMA
(Pfizer), military (USPHS, USAF & DoD), food & beverages (The Coca-Cola Company & Blue Bunny), insurance and finance (Universal Insurance), international organizations (The World Bank), aviation (American Airlines & FAA), and digital start-ups (Phienx, HipaaChat & HealthTap). She has been a subject matter expert and mass media evangelist in
neuroscience, mental health, and wellness on national television and social media. Dr. Cora has a keen eye in identifying gaps, challenges, and opportunities in diverse areas of unmet needs, successfully applying her critical thinking, strategic planning, cultural competency, and leadership skills. She’s at her best in novel situations including leadership transitions and critical events. Dr. Cora is multilingual and holds MD/MHA/MBA degrees, is a licensed physician and Diplomate, American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, executive coach, certified mediator, has a certificate in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT, and is an alumna of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. Dr. Cora is currently President & CEO of CoraLG, Inc., a corporate consulting firm focusing on Health & Wellness Tech & AI ventures. She’s Co-Founder, Chief Medical Officer, and Board Director at Phienx, Inc., a gamified app harnessing the power of AI to deliver personalized emotional support, self-reflection, and more.
Dr. Cora first served on the American Psychiatric Association Board of Trustees followed by the American Psychiatric Foundation Board of Directors. As Chief Medical Officer at two hospitals in Geo Care, she had a seat on the Board, where she was instrumental in ensuring continued JCAHO accreditation. During her tenure at Pfizer, she successfully
led multiple outreach initiatives during the pandemic. When assisting The Coca-Cola Company during critical events, she heralded the company’s Goodwill while successfully finding solutions to complex situations. As a consultant for the World Bank, she assessed fear of retaliation, their number one issue of employee dissatisfaction in the
workplace, and created a global plan of action to resolve this pervasive problem that affected morale worldwide.
