Alok joined VCU Health in July 2024 as the system’s inaugural Chief Data & AI Officer tasked with elevating the Data Analytics program for the system and also setting up the AI program. The Enterprise Analytics team under Alok has been going through significant changes building capabilities from setting up a new Data Management and AI platform to upskilling to support the growing and evolving needs of VCU Health.
With more than 25 years of experience in both the Analytics and business applications fields, Alok served as the inaugural Chief Data and Analytics Officer for Ballad Health prior to joining VCU Health. Alok has led health systems in establishing the Analytic Center of Excellence programs and developing enterprise data management strategies with the aim of advancing data insights and capabilities. Alok also serves as an advisory board member for multiple boards.
