Dr. Kelly Hernandez is the Director of Student Services-School of Nursing at the Miami Dade College-Medical Campus. She has extensive experience in leadership, curriculum design, and multicultural communication. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and received a Master of Arts from Michigan State University. She earned her doctorate at the University of Miami in Higher Education Leadership. In an effort to increase retention rates and improve student success, Kelly became interested in the power of AI to harness deeper learning of nursing concepts and in the ability of AI to make the learning process more engaging for students.
