Gerhard-Paul Diller is the Director of the Department of Cardiology III: Congenital Heart Defects (AHCD) and valvular hear diseases at the University Hospital Münster. He is a full professor/chair in Muenster and a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital London as well as a visiting professor at Imperial College London.
Gerhard Paul Diller studied medicine at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. The certified ACHD expert with a research focus on adults with congenital heart defects and pulmonary hypertension completed a large part of his clinical training in Great Britain at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. He also holds a Master of Science in Health Economics Policy and Management from the London School of Economics, London, UK. Gerhard-Paul Diller is a past board member of the European Heart Rhythm Association, a current board member and past president of the ESC Working Group Grown Up Congenital Heart Disease, and past chairman of the Working Group for Congenital Heart Defects of the German Society of Cardiology - Cardiovascular Research (DGK).
