Dr. Shelby Kutty’s career has included serving in the roles of physician-scientist, clinician, and academic leader. He serves as Helen Taussig professor and chairs the cardiovascular analytic intelligence program at Johns Hopkins. One of the world’s preeminent experts in cardiovascular imaging with consistent grant funding from the National Institutes of Health, over 450 peer-reviewed publications and 3 patents, Dr. Kutty is passionate about patient outcomes and evidence-based assessment of new healthcare technologies. He has a master’s degree in healthcare management from Harvard, training in artificial intelligence from MIT, and is an Aresty Scholar of the Wharton School. He has received acclaimed awards from the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Cardiology and has been part of health tech ventures in Brazil, India, and China.
