Dr. Nada is a Pediatric Nephrology attending physician and consultant at Le Bonheur Children’s and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitals. As Director of the Newborn Renal Clinic, one of the first specialized clinics in the U.S. for neonates with or at risk of kidney diseases, Dr. Nada has spearheaded innovative clinical care. They have developed pioneering EMR alerts to improve the early diagnosis of acute kidney injury (AKI) in children, optimize care for patients on nephrotoxic medications, and enhance vaccination and blood pressure management for children with chronic kidney disease. Their research, including a comprehensive onco-nephrology review and work in neonatal AKI, is widely recognized. As chair of the ASPN workforce committee and QI/AI special interest group, Dr.Nada is dedicated to advancing AI-driven improvements in pediatric nephrology.
