Sumedha is a pediatrician and founder, who has transitioned to investor and health innovation strategist with 15 years experience in health systems, venture, and startups. Sumedha has significant experience in the pediatric health tech and women’s health space, serving as an advisor to CTIP in the Pediatric Device Consortium, Springboard Women’s Health Cohort, Stella Foundation's Womens Fast Pitch, and Techstars.

Sumedha has an MD from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA with Healthcare Leadership from University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business. She is an advisor to Health Innovation Pitch and investor at Citrine Angels - women investing in women. Sumedha is also committed to serving her community as a board member of Volunteer Fairfax (2023) and member of the March of Dimes Heroines of Washington Executive Leadership Team (2022). She has been honored as a March of Dimes Heroines of Washington Finalist (2019) and Power Women of DC Tech from DCA Live (2023).
