Tina Park founded Diagram in 2013 with the mission to use design to change healthcare. Her previous experiences range from leading innovative research at Johnson & Johnson's Global Strategic Design Office to Project HealthDesign a grant funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation supporting teens with chronic conditions with the transition from pediatric to adult healthcare. For the last five years she has supported the Sickle Cell Foundation of California integrating the patient voice into the development of YAAM: a real-world data tool that builds predictive models for sickle cell disease. She has also led the implementation of design methods and tools into a variety of initiatives from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to NIH R01 grants to focus the lens on chronically ill, underserved communities.
