Dr. Monica Isgut combines deep expertise in biology and artificial intelligence with a proven entrepreneurial track record. She is the cofounder of a stealth mode biotech startup aimed at discovering novel molecules to reverse cellular aging, and is also a recurring guest faculty for the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM), where she teaches clinicians the technical foundations of machine learning. She holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Biology from Emory University, with industry experience at GlaxoSmithKline, giving her a unique, cross-disciplinary perspective on health technology. Monica is the sole inventor of an issued patent and has co-authored 10+ biomedical research publications in high impact journals such as Genome Medicine, Scientific Reports, IEEE Reviews in Biomedical Engineering and Medicinal Research Reviews.
