Ed Gaudet is the CEO and Founder of Censinet, recognized by TIME Magazine as one of the World’s Top HealthTech Companies of 2025. With more than 25 years of software leadership, Ed has built and scaled multiple healthcare technology platforms.
From 2010–2013, he served as CMO at Imprivata, driving product and market strategy to transform the brand into healthcare. As GM from 2013–2017, he launched Imprivata Cortext, a best-in-KLAS cloud-based clinical communications platform. Earlier, Ed was SVP at Liquid Machines (acquired by CheckPoint Software), where he created and led its go-to-market and product strategy. He also held senior roles at IONA Technologies, Rational Software, and SQA, Inc.
Ed holds multiple patents in mobile and quorum-based authentication, secure content sharing, and distributed data management. Ed holds numerous industry leadership positions including being named a fellow of the American College of Health Data Management. He is a frequent speaker on AI, leadership, healthcare, and regulatory compliance, and is a member of the Forbes Technology Council.
