Dr. Ingrid Lim is an emergency physician who practices at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. She is the Chief of Continuing Medical Education for the medical center, where she oversees a large CME program, with over 500 CME offerings per year. For her dedication to medical education and faculty development, she was awarded The Permanente Medical Group Excellence in CME Teaching Award in 2021 and the Outstanding CME Leadership Award by the California Medical Association (CMA) in 2022. She founded the Kaiser San Francisco Academy of Medical Educators in 2018 and has served as its Director for the past 6 years. She is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF and Site Director for the UCSF-ZSFG Emergency Medicine Residency program. When she’s not at work, she’s a busy mother of three. She recently spent 5 months in Busan, South Korea, on a sabbatical, relishing an alternate life where circadian rhythms were consistent, and she perfected the art of doing nothing.
