Alexander Rivero, MD, FACS is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine and currently serves as Assistant Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland Medical Center. He is also the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for Oto-HNS across the East Bay region. Dr. Rivero’s research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence into surgical education and clinical decision-making in otolaryngology, with particular interest in otology, salivary gland surgery, and minimally invasive techniques. He has previously moderated sessions on the evolving role of AI in otology and ENT practice more broadly and is enthusiastic about the potential of AI to transform medical education. He is thrilled to present at this year’s conference.
