Dr. Nadia Smati is an academic internist and Partner & Chief Research Officer at Ainsley Advisory Group, a healthcare AI consulting firm. She holds dual U.K.–U.S. education and clinical training through Stanford, Imperial College London, NHS England, and Kaiser Permanente. At Kaiser, she served as Department Technology Lead, where she led early AI adoption efforts, including the pioneer deployment and monitoring of the first residency-wide pilot of ambient AI, along with the development of a clinical AI literacy curriculum. Her work focuses on healthcare delivery system design and technology integration to promote equity and patient-centered care. Dr. Smati has received national recognition from the American College of Physicians for her research and has spoken at national and international forums on health AI, particularly deployment strategies and the impact of AI on clinical workflows and care delivery. Alongside her clinical and advisory work, she leads and teaches AI education for physicians to foster responsible implementation and evaluation of AI tools in healthcare settings.
