William Walders is a retired U.S. Naval Officer with over 25 years of leadership experience in government and nonprofit provider/payer healthcare in various operations and information technology roles.
He holds Board Certifications as a CIO, CISO, as a Digital Health Executive, and in Clinical Quality. In recognition of his achievements, Walders was named Florida Large Enterprise CIO of the Year in 2022 and was a finalist for National CIO of the Year. His accolades also include being honored as a University of Florida Outstanding Young Alumni (2013), a Federal Health IT Innovation Award Winner (2018), and ISE East Executive of the Year in Cybersecurity (2022).
William has a long-standing commitment to community service, having served on various professional and national boards. He earned a bachelor of science in management information systems from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in business/healthcare administration from the University of Florida.
