Krista Nelson joined Children’s Mercy Hospital in 2015 as Director of Innovation Development. In this role she leads the development and execution of the Children's Mercy Innovation Strategy. Krista partners with employees throughout the organization that have innovative ideas and leads them through an innovation/strategic framework to bring their ideas to life. Most recently, Krista led the creation of PedsMarket, LLC, a new subsidiary of Children’s Mercy, as the Executive Director. PedsMrkt.com, is a collaborative marketplace and community platform that engage pediatric buyers, sellers, and partners in scaling and disseminating pediatric products, patents/IP, technologies and more.
