This interactive 45-minute workshop explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping the clinical research landscape—from accelerating data analysis to identifying novel insights and improving study design. Participants will take a deep dive into practical ways AI can support the research process, including cohort selection, predictive modelling, natural language processing of clinical notes, and real-time monitoring of outcomes.

We’ll also review the most impactful recent research in health AI, highlighting what has made these studies influential and credible. A dedicated segment will address the evolving expectations of peer reviewers and journal editors, including transparency of methods, explainability, reproducibility, and adherence to reporting guidelines such as CONSORT-AI and SPIRIT-AI.
